Rachel Heavens Coaching
Coach, trainer, facilitator
London/Sussex/Kent/Online
“Rachel demonstrated kindness and understanding throughout our sessions. The sessions were varied and flexible with interesting activities and the sessions would always flow in the best direction for what I needed at the time. Rachel’s coaching positively impacted my work and family relationships. I have a better understanding of how my inner world affects how I interact with others and how I can put unnecessary pressure on myself. I have been able to improve how I interact with my husband and a new understanding that I can take responsibility for my own needs to support our relationship and ongoing active relating going forward. As a direct result of the sessions, I can better communicate and discuss my needs with my work colleagues and line manager leading to extra support being provided. Rachel supported me through a tough transition in a job role that is challenging most of the time. My sessions have been invaluable, I don’t know what I would have done without her support and I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to work with her.”
Rianne (Safeguarding administrator)
“Rachel has worked with me for over 2 years in the workplace. Since then, I have noticed a massive growth in my personal and professional development with her support and guidance. She has always offered such a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude without any judgement. I feel with Rachels leadership and support that I have built so much confidence, not just in my job role, but in my everyday life, gaining skills which I intend to use going forward. Rachel always demonstrates active listening, in which I have been able to communicate freely, whether I have needed advice, or just a safe space to talk. I am extremely grateful for all the support I have received from Rachel and feel proud of all that I have accomplished, facing situations which I would never have been able to do before by setting goals and achieving them. Rachel is extremely knowledgeable and fantastic at what she does!”
Sophie (Frontline worker- Housing)
“Of course, it’s plain to everyone who meets Rachel, that she is a breath of fresh air. Her presence in a group ensures there is always an upbeat and empowering space there. People want to participate around Rachel because it’s a joy. People are moved to take actions in support of the project or commitment Rachel is managing and they pull together as a team. I have found this to be a rare and extremely valuable quality in a Leader. Rachel is highly skilled in resolving people’s breakdowns or issues. She has her attention on the needs and concerns of the person she’s with and she listens. After a conversation with Rachel, people have the experience of being heard and have their concerns fully acknowledged and attended to”
Donna ( Senior facilitator)
“I really enjoyed the coaching with Rachel, and I found it comforting to know she was there every other week when I was the beginning of a breakup with my partner of 25 years. My favourite session was the Derive where we drove to woods and had the session as I squelched through the mud, looked at the trees and frog spawn on a puddle. There was metaphor everywhere in nature reflecting my life as it was for me at the current time. There was a freedom in being outside when talking & walking. As we made our way back to the car and took off our boots, I felt refreshed and lighter”
Cassie (Artist/Yoga teacher)
